Primary Care for People of All Ages
"What is Rooted is Easy to Nourish"

Musculoskeletal complaints often act as sentinels and guides, alerting us to more diffuse difficulties and motivating us to embark on broader and deeper explorations of illness and health. Common non-musculoskeletal themes in my practice include arthritis, issues with energy and libido, difficult menstrual periods or menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis, digestive troubles like acid reflux and colitis, allergies, and ADHD and other learning difficulties in children and adults.

I enjoy working with diet, nutrition, and herbs to address these and other functional health issues.  However, my primary concern is always to strengthen your connection with your embodied intelligence.  When you are not firmly rooted in self-awareness, you may try many diets, supplements and herbs without experiencing much benefit.  On the other hand, when you are in touch with your own somatic wisdom, you have a clearer sense of which approaches really suit you and are more receptive to the gifts they offer.

At its best, primary care is a collaborative process.  I frequently refer to and enjoy working with practitioners of diverse disciplines, including medical doctors, acupuncturists, naturopaths, physical therapists, and homeopaths.
